After ‘Belt and Road’ ‘Belt and Robots’ …’, China’s exploits surprised the world! – Belt and Robots after Bri Initiative China is Opening First Robotics Center in Kazakhastan Ntcprk

China has managed to increase Bhurajnic and economic influence in dozens of countries of the world through its ambitious project ‘Belt and Road Initiative (BRI)’. Now China has taken the first step towards increasing its fight in the world through robotics. A start-up in Shanghai has agreed to an agreement for partnership in several ventures with the Central-Asian country of Kazakhstan.

As part of this agreement, Chinese company AGIBOT will set up a joint company in Kazakhstan, with facilities for making robotics, a “data factory” for robotic system training and other projects and other projects will be made a research and development center.

The agreement to establish a robotics company has been reached between AGBott and Kazakhstan’s Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry Ministry. This step for Kazakhstan will help in achieving foreign investment.

The country’s Digital, Innovation and Aerospace Minister Jhaslan Madiyev said, “Partnership with advanced company like AGBott is an important milestone in the history of Kazakhstan’s robotics industry.”

AGBot is a start-up at Shanghai, which was founded in February 2023 by Peng Jhihui, former engineer of Chinese tech veteran Huawei Technologies. This firm specializes in developing humans -like robots for use in domestic and industrial settings. By December 2024, its company based in Shanghai produced 1,000 robots.

Under the agreement, AGBot will cooperate in research projects at the university in Kazakhstan, training local students to monitor robot and demonstrate their prototypes at ALEM AI International Center located in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.

Robot industry rose to China

On one hand, China is moving forward in electronic vehicles and artificial intelligence, while on the other hand it has also gone far ahead in making robots that look like humans. During the Spring Festival of China, dozens of robots dancing together attracted the attention of the world.

China exported over 35 lakh robots for use in areas such as surgery, industry and semiconductor construction last year, which is 33 percent higher than 2023. According to Chinese custom data, robot exports made a profit of $ 1.15 billion, which is 44.5 percent higher than last year.

China’s ‘Belt and Robot’ after Belt and Road Initiative (BRI)

Chinese President Xi Jinping envisaged BRI in 2013. Under this initiative, China is setting up infrastructure for trade through roads, railways and ports. The purpose of this initiative of China is to connect Asia with Africa and Europe and for this it is spending trillion dollars.

Under the Belt and Road Initiative, China has invested to build infrastructure in more than 140 countries of the world. China has succeeded in increasing its influence worldwide under BRI.

However, many countries are caught in the sugar debt trap due to this project. Because of this, this project of China is also very criticized that in the name of development, China gives huge loans to poor and developing countries and when the country is unable to repay the loan, then it takes possession of their resources. China is also accused of interfering in domestic and foreign affairs of these countries.

India’s neighboring countries Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Nepal and Afghanistan are also part of the Belt and Road Initiative.
