US President Donald Trump thanked protesters and employees of the National Guard who handled law and order at Los Angeles on Sunday morning. He said that the protesters will no longer be allowed to wear masks. Trump questioned, “What do these people have to hide?”

This response comes at a time when the National Guard has been deployed in Los Angeles amidst two days of violence and protests. On Saturday, President Trump signed a parliamentary memorandum, stating that the National Guard is being deployed to deal with the lawlessness that has been increasing for a long time.

The White House issued this order stating that this step was necessary to control violence and restore the system.
