The United Nations will be involved in the investigation of plane crash, India’s permission to ICAO Observer
The United Nations will be involved in the investigation into the Dreamliner Plane accident of Air India. The Government of India has given permission to an expert from the United Nations Aviation ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) to join as an observer. ICAO sought permission to attend the investigation. India has decided to include the United Nations in the intention of investigating with transparency.
The accident has been investigated by the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) team since June 13. It also includes aviation medical experts, Air Traffic Control (ATC) officer and representatives of the US National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB). The US representatives are recovering the data of the black box of the plight.
