Aimim foundation day: Today is the 67th Foundation Day of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) (1 March). On this occasion, the party’s national president Asaduddin Owaisi addressed the workers from the Central Office in Hyderabad. During this, he targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party a lot. ‘Shivaji’s general was Muslim’
He also spoke about Chhatrapati Shivaji. He said, ‘Modi promoted cinema about Shivaji. If you are in love with the Marathas, then give them reservation. They do not even know that when Shivaji’s grandfather is not getting children, he went to RK Dargah. Then he had two children. Shivaji’s army general, Navy head and Finance Minister were also Muslims. There were Hindus in the army of Mughals.
‘Urdu is the tongue of freedom’
Asaduddin Owaisi said, ‘The CM of Uttar Pradesh says that reading Urdu makes you a puppet, obviously he does not know Urdu but only he can answer why he did not become a scientist. None of the ideology they come from, did not participate in the freedom struggle. He was from Gorakhpur, a big poet of Firaq Gorakhpuri. They also call them puppets. Owaisi also said that the BJP wants to make the country a tongue, a religion, an ideology and a leader. He said, ‘Urdu has been a tongue of independence of the country. The slogan of Jin Subhash Chandra Bose, PM Modi, was “Ittehad Etmad and Qurbani”.
What did Owaisi say on the Waqf Bill?
Owaisi said, ‘Narendra Modi’s government is bringing Waqf bill only due to hatred from Muslims. Can a Muslim member become a member of Kashi Vishwanath’s Industration Board? If not, then how can there be a Hindu member in the Waqf Board of Muslims? Modi is afraid to show you the degree and you are snatching our waqf.
