AIMIM Plans to Contest all seats in West Bengal Elections 2026 TMC in Tension

West Bengal Elections: Preparations for All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) are going on loudly for the West Bengal assembly elections. This party of Asaduddin Owaisi is preparing to field candidates in many of the 294 assembly seats. At present, the party’s membership campaign to increase its base in Bengal is going on with strength.

Talking to NDTV, AIMIM leader Mohammad Imran Solanki said that in the Panchayat elections held in the year 2023, AIMIM got only one and a half lakh votes from Malda and Murshidabad. Now this is the preparation to carry out the campaign from this. He said, ‘We have been working on the ground with great silence for the last four years. We want to field candidates in all seats in next year’s assembly elections. For this, preparations at the block level have started long back.

Mamta Banerjee’s tension will increase!
For the last few decades, a large taba of Muslim voters in West Bengal has been seen standing with Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress (TMC). In such a situation, if AIMIM fields its candidates on a large scale in the Bengal elections, then surely it will benefit the Trinamool Congress and the BJP will benefit. Something similar was seen in the recent Delhi assembly elections. In Delhi, the seats where AIMIM had fielded candidates, Aam Aadmi Party candidates had to face defeat and BJP won.
