Air Chief Marshal AP Singh Address 80th Staff Course at Defense Services Staff College Wellington

Air Chief Marshal AP Singh: Air Chief Marshal AP Singh has emphasized the need to increase the ability of the army to face emerging security challenges. He has also talked about designing the training strategies of military forces. He said that all this is important in the changing geo-granting scenario. AP Singh said this while addressing the students of the Indian Armed Forces in the 80th Staff course of the Indian Armed Forces at the Defense Service College (DSSC), Wellington while addressing the permanent faculty of the college.

Air Chief Marshal asked the officials of Staff Course in DSSC to adopt the change. He called for evaluating emerging threats and designing favorable strategies for future struggles. He also spoke on the need for integrated training and operational coordination between the three armies to increase the war capacity of the Indian forces.

The Air Force Chief in his address highlighted the strategic approach of the Indian Air Force, the ongoing capacity development schemes and the importance of integrated operation in modern war. He also appreciated the achievements of Air Force employees and his firm dedication in protecting India’s national interests.

During this important visit, the Chief of Air Force was also given brief information on training activities. The Air Force chief was told about the efforts that promote jointness between the Indian Armed Forces (Navy, Army and Air Force). These training activities are a major aspect of modern military preparations.

The Air Force chief appreciated the institute, saying that this institute is playing an important role in shaping future military leadership through rigorous educational and vocational training.
