Air India canceled its flight AI349 from Singapore to Chennai on Sunday due to a technical problem. The flight was to be operated by the Airbus A321 aircraft, but before leaving, the problem of maintenance came to light, which took a long time to fix.

Air India said in a statement released on Sunday that the decision to cancel Flight AI349 was taken when a mental work was needed in the aircraft before the takeoff. The flight had to be canceled due to extra time to fix it.

Alternative arrangements for passengers
Air India said that arrangements are being made to deliver passengers to Chennai at the earliest. Passengers are being given the facility to stay in the hotel. Along with this, when the flight is canceled, they are also being given the option of complete refund or free resteduling.

Ground staff engaged in helping passengers
According to Air India, their ground staff present in Singapore are making every effort to ensure that there is no inconvenience. The airline also regretted this sudden problem. In recent times, technical problems have come to light in many flights of Air India.
