Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and NCP chief Ajit Pawar was on a visit to his constituency Baramati on Sunday. During a program here, he got angry at his party workers. Ajit Pawar inaugurated many development projects in Baramati. He interacted with workers and citizens during the inauguration of a petrol pump in Medha. While inaugurating the petrol pump, his party workers and citizens were giving him their applications.
While accepting people’s applications, Ajit Pawar was instructing the officials to speed up the work. During this time a worker complained about many pending works. Some local people also agreed with the worker. Ajit Pawar got angry on this matter. “Just because you voted doesn’t mean you are my boss,” he said angrily. Have you made me your servant?’

Opposition parties are criticizing Ajit Pawar for his statement to the people and party workers of his constituency. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena leader and minister in the Mahayuti government, Sanjay Shirsat, defended the NCP chief and said that he had made this comment out of anger. However, Ajit Pawar controlled himself immediately after his angry remarks. He talked to party workers regarding works of public interest.

He took the memorandum of the workers and people on whom he had vented his anger and said that the concerned work was under Minister Hasan Mushrif. Ajit Pawar said, ‘I have requested Mushrif to get the work done.’ Let us tell you that in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Ajit Pawar had fielded his wife Sunetra Pawar from Baramati seat against his cousin sister Supriya Sule. However, Sunetra lost the election. After this, during the assembly elections, Sharad Pawar had fielded his nephew Yugendra from Baramati against Ajit Pawar. But Ajit Pawar was successful in registering victory.
