The central government has announced to conduct caste census along with census. This decision is being seen in Uttar Pradesh as the mobilization of backward and Akhilesh Yadav’s PDA in the 2027 assembly elections. It is believed that the Modi government has taken away the Brahmastra of the opposition by taking the decision of caste census, the ethnic census which Rahul Gandhi had made the most important issue for his party and the opposition had made it a central theme against the BJP in its nectar, the Prime Minister brought that issue to the ground in one shock.
Opposition parties are still calling it their victory, Rahul Gandhi held a press conference and said that he got tremendous pressure on this issue and this is the victory of the Congress, so Akhilesh Yadav has termed it as 100 % success under the pressure of 90 percent PDA.
BJP did course correction in time

Has BJP taken this decision by sensing the mobilization of backward castes in the UP elections of 2027 and Bihar elections of 2025?
