Bollywood player Akshay Kumar is one of those actors who do their own stunts in films. He likes to do stunts himself in his films. He did many action films at the beginning of his career. Although he has also done many comedy films, but he has also done his stunts in it.
Recently, during the promotion of the film ‘Sky Force’ with Veer Pahadia, Akshay remembered his most challenging stunt. Akshay says, ‘During the stunt in the 1998 action-thriller film’ Angare ‘, director Mahesh Bhatt was so nervous that he had run away from the set, he felt that something would go wrong.
Mahesh Bhatt was nervous after seeing his stunts
In a conversation with The Quint, Akshay says there was a stunt in ‘Angare’ which I jumped from the seven -floor building. There was a road in the middle, but only one lane, and on the other side there was another building. So I had to jump from seventh to fourth floor. Seeing all this, director Mahesh Bhatt ran away. He further says, ‘Mahesh Bhatt was my director and before I was able to do stunts, he left from there. He said, ‘I don’t want to see, it will die. He left, so I did that shot without a director.
Akshay likes to give real action to audiences
In an interview last year, Akshay Kumar told why he does not use body doubles. He says, ‘Our audiences buy tickets ranging from Rs 250 to Rs 350 and come to see us. He would like to see the truth. I do not want them to feel cheated. Some stunts are dangerous, which you should not do. Here you should seek the help of VFX. Akshay further says stunts are quite risky and even life can be lost. But most of the stunts themselves prefer to give real action to the audience.
Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Sky Force’ is performing very well at the box office. It also stars Veer Paharia, Sara Ali Khan and Sharad Kelkar in the lead roles.
