Aligarh Muslim University court elected MPs, so many MLAs of BJP and Congress involved – Up Aligarh Muslim University Court MLA Ziaur Rahman Barq Imram Masood Tmc MP PVPW

Seven MPs have been selected for the court of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), including four BJP MLAs. In a notification issued by the university on Wednesday, it was told that these MPs have been selected for a period of three years, which will hold the post till 23 December 2027 or till the end of their MP’s tenure. Please tell that the university has made BJP MP from Aligarh Satish Kumar Gautam, BJP MP from Bulandshahr Dr. Bhola Singh for the third time.

Among these members, SP MP Ziaur Rahman Burke has also been made a member of the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Court. At the same time, 6 Lok Sabha members including Hathras MP Anoop Pradhan have been made members of Aligarh Muslim University Court. 10 members from Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha are made members of Aligarh Muslim University Court. According to the official statement issued by AMU, this election has been held on the basis of a notification issued by the Ministry of Education on 2 January 2025. Following this instruction of the ministry, the election process of MPs has been completed.

This time BJP MP Anoop Pradhan from Hathras district, Congress MP of Saharanpur, Imran Masood, Murshidabad (West Bengal) TMC MP Abu Tahir Khan, Sambhal SP MP Ziaurrahman Burke have become a court member for the first time. The appointment of all these in AMU court will remain for three years or till the Lok Sabha member.

Who are the six MPs selected from Lok Sabha?
1. Satish Kumar Gautam – BJP MP (Aligarh)
2. Imran Masood – Congress MP (Saharanpur)
3. Jiyarman – Samajwadi Party MP (Sambhal)
4. Mohammad Hamdullah Saeed – Congress MP (Lakshadweep)
5. Bhola Singh – BJP MP (Bulandshahr)
6. Anoop Pradhan Valmiki – BJP MP (Hathras)

Apart from this, BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Surendra Singh Nagar has also been elected as a member of the AMU court. He will continue in this post till 17 December 2027 or till the end of his membership in Rajya Sabha. After this election, the contribution of these MPs in the AMU court will be important, because after AMU becomes a member of the court, they will play an important role in the administrative and educational matters of the university.
