American Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) director John Ratcliffe has confirmed that the US has temporarily suspended sharing intelligence with Ukraine, which could have a serious impact on the Ukrainian army’s ability to target the Russian army. Ratcliffe said that he expects cooperation in work on peace with Ukraine. His statement especially came after the appeal made by Ukrainian President Valodimir Jailonsky to the US President.
Jailonski, while posting on the social media platform ‘X’, had mentioned that Ukraine is ready to sit on the table of the conversation as soon as possible. However, his meeting with US President Donald Trump did not run as per the plan, which needs to be fixed.

Trump stopped military support given to Ukraine
Bloomberg claimed in a report that on March 4, President Trump ordered to suspend all military aid for Kiev, which also includes the support being given so far. It is believed that this decision has been taken to put pressure in the Oval office after a dispute between Trump and Jailonski.
Jailonsky sent a letter to Trump
In the evening the same day, Jailonsky directed the US to obtain official information regarding stopping military aid. Subsequently, while addressing the US Congress, President Trump did not announce the suspension of Ukraine’s military aid. However, Trump in his address mentioned a letter sent by him, in which Jailonski was ready to re -talk.

Trump’s action to pressurize Jailonsky!
The Wall Street Journal report stated that the suspension of US military aid will continue until Trump determines that the President of Ukraine supports peace talks. Despite Jailonsky’s statement on Tuesday, it is not clear whether Trump will restore US military aid for Ukraine.
