This decision has been taken by the new cabinet of Prime Minister Mark Carney.
This statement from Canada has come at a time when Portugal recently indicated that they may leave the Deal of F-35 jets. Apart from these, during PM Narendra Modi’s visit to America, Donald Trump proposed a Deal of F35 Stealth Fighter Jet from India. However, it is not clear from India whether there will be a deal on this fighter jet.

Canada deal with America in 2023
