In the monsoon session on Tuesday (July 29, 2025), the country’s Home Minister Amit Shah discussed ‘Operation Sindoor’ and ‘Operation Mahadev’ on Monday (July 28, 2025). He said that I want to inform the whole country about yesterday’s operation Mahadev. Amit Shah said that ‘Operation Mahadev’ was killed in a joint operation of Suleman alias Faizal, Afghan and Gibran, three terrorist army and CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir Police.

Amit Shah said that Suleman was the commander of Lashkar -e -Taiba. In the Pahagam attack and in the skygnar terror attack, Suleman was involved in the sky, our agencies have many evidences. Along with this, Afghan was a terrorist of Lashkar -e -Taiba and Gibran was also a terrorist.

‘Operation Mahadev’ starts from the day of Pahalgam attack

Explaining in detail about Operation Mahadev, the Home Minister said, ‘Operation Mahadev started on 22 May 2025. In a way, the day the terrorist attack took place in Pahalgam, there was a security meeting in Jammu and Kashmir. He said, ‘The day I was attacked at 1 o’clock in the night, I reached Srinagar at 5 in the morning. The Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and security agencies made such planning, so that terrorists could not leave the country and flee to Pakistan.

IB kept an eye continuously for 2 months

Amit Shah said that on May 22, the presence of a terrorist was reported inside the Ranchi village area near IB. Efforts were made continuously from May 22 to July 22, 2025 for strong information about the presence of terrorists in the region by the IB and the army. Then on July 22, the army got success and with the help of the sensor, information was found about the presence of terrorists. Then the army and police of the country worked to surround the terrorists together and Operation Mahadev was killed till successful.
