Swarn Singh said that his son had tried to go to Canada on a study permit after passing 12th standard, but he did not pass the IELTS exam. He told that Akashdeep prepared it for 2 years, but when he did not succeed, he decided to go to Dubai on a work permit 7 months ago. He went to Dubai after spending four lakh rupees and started working as a truck driver and earned 50 thousand every month, but he had to go to America, so he contacted the Dubai agent. The deal was fixed for 55 lakh rupees to go to America. Swarn Singh told that when his son told about this, he slowly started sending money.
Son had arrived 14 days ago
Akashdeep’s father Swarn Singh told that he had gone to America about 14 days ago, but was sent to India. He said that even though he has lost money, he is happy that his son has returned home.
Land was sold
When Swarn Singh was asked how he arranged for money to send his son to America, he told that he had two and a half acres of land, which made his livelihood run. He sold two acres of land to send his son to America. Now he has half an acre of land left, so that he will run his and family expenses. Not only this, Swarn Singh has accused the Punjab state government that the youth do not have a job, so they seek options to go abroad. He said that if the government takes adequate steps for employment, then this situation will not arise.
