The Amritsar police, taking a major action, have arrested four youths who wrote anti-national slogans near Patwarkhana. Giving information in the press conference, Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said that all these youths are active operative of Babbar Khalsa International and were involved in serious crimes like firing and atampt to murder in Tarn Taran.
The police commissioner said that there are already several criminal cases against the arrested youths. These people were active in grafity painting, firing and other criminal activities. The investigation has revealed that he also fired at a medical practitioner’s house, an ex -serviceman and an educational institution. With this action, the police has taken a big step towards breaking their entire network.
The arrested accused have been identified as Gurvinder alias Harman, Vishal, Afridi Dhoot and Prabh Dasuwal. Police say that these accused were associated with the old crime network and were trying to spread panic in Punjab. The police have recovered a 30 bore pistol, spray paint and a motorcycle from their possession.

The police commissioner said that intense interrogation of all the accused is going on and Tarn Taran police is also trying to get to the bottom of this whole matter. He said that this action is not just a coincidence, but is part of a strict action plan against pro-Khalistan gangs, so that peace can be maintained in Punjab and safety of people can be ensured.
After this action, security has been tightened in the area and the search for other suspects is going on by the police. Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar clearly said that no anti-national activity in the state will be tolerated and strict legal action will be taken against the culprits.
