Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu instructed the officials to take advantage of technology and make Andhra Pradesh a state with zero crime rate. He emphasized that Andhra Pradesh should become an ideal state under the supervision of law and order with effective use of technology. Chief Minister Naidu held a review meeting with officials on real-time governance at Andhra Pradesh Secretariat on Monday. He directed that to control criminal activities, the places of crime through CCTV cameras should be constantly monitored.
He also directed the officials to amend the rules to allow the use of footage of private CCTV cameras, and emphasized that private CCTV cameras should also be availed to control crime. He further said that technology should be used more effectively in such cases where individuals commit crime under the guise of politics. He warned that those who cleverly commit crime, blame the government and fail to cooperate with the police, they should be dealt with carefully.

For such persons, he suggested implementing the Public Safety Act so that data could be collected from them. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu directed the officials to focus on identifying those responsible for such crimes. He also said that by amending the Public Safety Act for public safety and crime control, it should also include collecting CCTV footage from shopping malls, theater and hotels during the investigation. Apart from this, the Chief Minister directed to increase the use of drones and CCTV cameras in various fields. He also inquired about the progress of drone city in Orvakallu.
Blockchain technology for safety of government documents
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu advised the use of blockchain technology to secure records and data in various government departments. He directed that the revenue records should also be completely secured using this technology. He emphasized that the information of various departments should be integrated through data lake. Officials told them that 517 civil services are currently being provided through WhatsApp governance. However, the Chief Minister directed that all services should be made user friendly.

The Chief Minister directed that every government department should synchronize benefits and other relevant information with RTGS. He clarified that if there is any discrepancy at the ground level, RTGS should be informed immediately so that the data can be updated. He said that the goal is to make Andhra Pradesh a poverty -free state by 2029 and according to this, welfare schemes should be rebuilt. He said that the goal of the coalition government is to help the person standing in the last line in the fight against poverty. In the review meeting organized by the Chief Minister, Chief Secretary K.K. Vijayanand, IT Secretary Katmani Bhaskar and other senior officials attended.
