Azad Maidan Unit, Kandivali Unit, Worli Unit and Ghatkopar unit of Mumbai Crime Branch’s Anti Narcotics Cell have arrested 11 drugs supplies in Mumbai’s Dharavi, Bandra, Bhaiyakhala, Govandi, Goregaon, Malwani, Borivali and Mahim areas of Mumbai. MD, Ganja, heroin and 3460 intoxicating tablets were recovered from them, the total price of which is Rs 2 crore 4 lakh in the international market.
ANC has recovered 3,460 bullets from 198 grams Mefedron (MD/Meau Meu Meu) 6.233 kg of cannabis, 346 grams of heroin and nitrozepam, Alprozolm and Traumadol. ANC has taken this action as part of an attempt to eliminate drugs and make Mumbai intoxicated.
Illegal sale of MD busted
Azad Maidan unit of ANC from Dharavi area of ​​Mumbai busted illegal sale of MD and arrested 2 people. The officials have recovered 140 grams of MD worth Rs 42 lakh from both. Bandra Unit has recovered 849 grams of hemp worth Rs 21,225 and 15 grams of heroin drugs worth about Rs 6 lakh from two people in different raids.
Drugs seized
A person was arrested after seizing a 1.182 kg of hemp worth Rs 59,100 from Bhaiyakhala area by ANC’s Worli Unit. ANC recovered 310 grams of heroin drugs worth Rs 1.24 crore from Mahim area. Ghatkopar Unit seized a total of 3,460 bullets of nitrozepam, Elprozolam and Traumadol from Govandi area, which costs more than Rs 10.4 lakh.
11 people arrested
58 grams of MD, 21 grams of heroin and 4.202 kg of cannabis were seized in raids from Goregaon East, Borivali West and Malad West areas. The ANC of the Mumbai Crime Branch registered a case under the NDPS Act and arrested all 11 people, including a woman.
