The Italian two -wheeler manufacturer Aprilia has expanded its portfolio in India and launched the new motorcycle toon 457 (Tuono 457) for sale officially. It is the cheapest bike of Aprilia in the Indian market and its initial price has been fixed at Rs 3.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Its price is less than Rs 25,000 from its syllabus model Rs 457.
A few months ago this motorcycle was introduced to the world at the EICMA motor show held in Italy Milan. Now this bike has been launched in the Indian market. The company says that this is a sport-facing motorcycle that the youth will like very much. There have been some mechanical changes that make it different from Rs 457.
Power and Performance:
The Aprilia Tuono 457 has used the company of 457 cc capacity parallel-twin engine, which generates 47.6hp power and 43.5Nm torque. It has been connected to a 6-speed gearbox with slip-end-antic clutch. Apart from this, by-Directional QuickSifer is also available as optional accessories. The toon 457 frames, suspension, brakes and electronics companies etc. are shared with Rs.
Tuono is completely different from its sending models. Its look is quite well. It also has a small new LED headlight with two sharp daytime running lights. This bike has a fuel tank of 12.7 liters of capacity, which is slightly smaller than the syllabus model. In Rs 457, the company has given a 13 -liter fuel tank. However, both motorcycles weigh only 175 kg.
The toon 457 is also given a slightly smaller gearing. This bike comes in two color options (Red/Black and White/Gray). The company says that its official booking has been started. Which can be booked through authorized dealership and official website. Its delivery is expected to start from March. In the market, it competes with models like Yamaha MT, KTM 390 Duke.
