Sameer Wankhede has filed a defamation case against Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Netflix India and Red Chillies for his portrayal in the series. Wankhede’s lawyer Jatin Parashar said that Sameer alleges that Aryan Khan has shown a person like him in his series. His character was assessed in the show. Due to the show, Sameer Wankhede and his family are abusing the story. He is being described as corrupt. In such a situation, that part of Aryan’s show should be deleted.

IRS officer Sameer Wankhede has filed a defamation suit in the Delhi High Court. It has demanded permanent and compulsory security, declaration and compensation against superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment Private Limited, OTT platform Netflix and others. The suit has been filed by Red Chillies and a stream on Netflix has been filed due to a false, malicious and defamable video shown in the series ‘The Bads of Bollywood’. This series depicts misleading and negative depiction of enforcement agencies against drugs, which reduces public confidence in law enforcement institutions.
The series has been deliberately prepared and implemented with the intention of defaming Sameer Wankhede’s reputation in a colorful and biased manner. Especially when the case related to Sameer Wankhede and Aryan Khan is pending and pending in the NDPS Special Court of Bombay High Court and Mumbai.
Apart from this, in a scene in the series, when one character says ‘Satyamev Jayate’, the other gives him a middle finger. ‘Satyamev Jayate’ is part of the national symbol. Therefore, showing the middle finger on it is a serious and sensitive violation of the provisions of the National Honor Prevention of Honor Prevention Act, 1971, under which the law can have punishable results. In such a situation, the scene of ‘Satyamev Jayate’ should also be removed.
The content of the series violates various provisions of the Information Technology Act and the Code of India (BNS), as it attempts to hurt national sentiments through the use of porn and objectionable materials. Sameer Wankhede has made all these allegations in his case and demanded compensation of Rs 2 crore. He will donate this amount to Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital for the treatment of cancer patients.
Hearing will be held in Delhi High Court tomorrow
At the same time, Delhi HighCord will hear the case filed by Sameer Wankhede against Red Chillies Entertainment tomorrow i.e. on Friday. The bench of Justice Purushendra Kumar Kaurav will hear the case.
