Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati on Sunday removed her nephew Akash Anand from all party positions and made it clear that she would not announce her successor as long as she is alive. The BSP supremo said that the party is paramount, relationships come later. He blamed his father -in -law Ashok Siddharth, who was expelled from the BSP last month due to anti -party activities.
Mayawati praised Anand Kumar
Mayawati made many major changes in the meeting of top leaders of BSP. He appointed his brothers Anand Kumar and Ramji Gautam as the national coordinator, who will see the functioning of the party across the country. Mayawati said that Anand Kumar has always worked with loyalty for the party. He told that Anand Kumar had left the government job and came to work for the BSP and also served the party founder Kanshi Ram for his health. He also told that his brother has decided not to marry his children in political families so that no one can harm the party.
Center and Uttar Pradesh government accused
In the meeting, there was a discussion to strengthen the BSP organization, expand the party to all classes and remove the deficiencies of the organization. Mayawati accused the government of ignoring inflation, unemployment and poverty and said that the budget of the Center and Uttar Pradesh government is beyond the ground reality.
He has planned to celebrate the birth anniversary of BSP founder Kanshi Ram on 15 March. On this occasion, party workers will pay tributes at various places including Kanshi Ram memorial of Lucknow and Dalit Prerna Sthal of Noida.
‘BJP and SP two sides of the same coin’
Targeting the Samajwadi Party, Mayawati said that the SP lost a crushing defeat in the Milkipur assembly by -election, while the BSP did not contest the election. He said that BJP and SP are two aspects of the same coin and only BSP can defeat BJP and other casteist parties.
