The High Court has asked Asaram to follow the conditions issued earlier by the Supreme Court. Justice Dinesh Mehta and Justice Vineet Kumar heard a hearing on Monday. When the court granted Asaram interim bail till June 30, the lawyer urged to do it by July 1, saying that the last day was being discharged.
Asaram was on interim bail from 14 January to 31 March. Asaram surrendered on 1 April at the end of this period. The same night he was admitted to a private hospital and is still admitted there.

Question on violation of Supreme Court condition Asaram’s lawyer Nishant Boda said- The case was heard on April 2. The victim’s lawyer PC Solanki accused Asaram of violating the condition of not discouraging the Supreme Court. After this, the High Court asked Asaram to present the affidavit.
Nishant Boda told- presented an affidavit in the court today. The court questioned whether Asaram preached after getting interim bail or not? At the same time, affidavit was also sought from the victim. PC Solanki, a lawyer of the victim side, said that Asaram has violated the conditions of interim bail given by the Supreme Court. He kept the facts related to violation of the condition.
Government investigation report also presented in court An investigation was also submitted by the government and submitted to the court. In this, statements of 3 constables were also recorded, who lived with Asaram during interim bail. It came in his statement that Asaram met his two or four seekers occasionally, but did not discounted publicly.
On behalf of Asaram, advocate Nishant Boda presented an affidavit and told the court that no condition of the Supreme Court has been violated. After listening to both sides, a division bench of Justice Justice Dinesh Mehta and Justice Vineet Kumar said- The government’s investigation report is also not confirmed by Asaram. At the same time, all the facts have been investigated by the Gujarat High Court before granting interim bail to Asaram on the medical ground. In such a situation, there is no need to re -examine the same medical grounds and any concrete basis of not giving interim bail is also coming out.
Asaram is admitted in private hospital After the end of the interim bail period, Asaram surrendered in Jodhpur Central Jail on 1 April at 1.30 pm. After staying here for about 10 hours, he was shifted to a private hospital (Arogyam) on Pali Road at 11:30 pm. From here, Asaram also went to AIIMS for a follow -up checkup on 3 April and returned to Arogyam after conducting an investigation in the evening. Since then Asaram is admitted here.
3 months interim bail received from Gujarat High Court on March 28 Earlier, Asaram got an interim bail of 3 months from the Gujarat High Court on March 28 for the second time. On this basis, on the opening of Rajasthan High Court on 1 April, Asaram’s lawyer Nishant Boda requested an argument hearing on the application filed earlier. The court heard it on 2 April. The court had decided to hold the next hearing of the case on 7 April when Asaram’s discourse was revealed in the hearing that lasted for about half an hour.
After coming out of jail after 11 years and 4 months, Asaram was seen walking in his ashram in Jodhpur.
Asaram 2 convicted in rape case Jodhpur: Asaram was arrested by Jodhpur police on 2 September 2013 from the ashram of Indore in the case of rape from a minor at Manai Ashram in Jodhpur. On 25 April 2018, the Special Poxo Court of Jodhpur convicted and sentenced him to life imprisonment. Asaram was granted interim bail till 31 March by the Rajasthan High Court on 14 January in this case. Now once again the court gave him an interim bail of 3 months.
Gandhinagar: A case of rape was registered against Asaram by a woman from the ashram in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The court sentenced Asaram to life imprisonment on 31 January 2023. Asaram was granted interim bail till 31 March by the Supreme Court on 7 January in this case. On March 28, the Gujarat High Court granted Asaram an interim bail of 3 months again.
