At Jhansi railway station in Uttar Pradesh, on Sunday, a woman gave birth to a healthy girl on the platform during the sudden delivery pain in the moving journey. This incident once again proved that the vigilance and human sensibilities of the railway can become a life guard for the passengers.
According to the information, Monika Bhosle, originally from Bhusaval, was traveling in the general coach of Sachkhand Express and was going to Mathura. During the journey, suddenly he started suffering childbirth. Assistant Public Relations Officer of Jhansi Railway Division Pradeep Sunele said that as soon as the train reached platform number 5 of Jhansi station, the staff at the station was informed.

Railway hospital health workers and women constables (RPF) immediately reached the spot and Monica was carefully brought down from the train. With the help of first aid on the platform, she gave birth to a healthy girl. Although Monica wanted to continue the journey ahead in the beginning, the railway medical staff persuaded her to take her to the hospital for treatment.
At the same time, both mother and newborn were admitted to Jhansi Railway Hospital as a precaution. According to doctors, both are healthy and out of danger. On receiving information about this incident, railway officials and passengers appreciated the readiness and sensitivity of the railway medical team.
