The Indian Army has appreciated the bravery and service of 10 -year -old Shavan Singh (Swarn Singh), who sent tea, milk and lassi to the soldiers during Operation Sindoor in Tara Wali village in Ferozepur district of Punjab. Therefore, the army has announced that it will now spend the entire education of 10 years of Shavan.
According to the news agency PTI, the army’s Golden Arrow Division has decided to take full responsibility of his education by appreciating the dedication and passion of the courageous Shavan Singh. Shivan was also honored by Lieutenant General Manoj Kumar Katiyar, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Western Command at an honor ceremony held at Ferozepur Cantonment on Saturday.
The incident took place when on May 7, the Indian Army carried out the missile attacks on terrorist bases in Pakistan and POK under Operation Sindoor, after which Pakistan targeted Indian posts and started firing on the border.
Shavan’s service won the heart of soldiers
Meanwhile, Shavan Singh, who hails from Tara Wali village in Mamdot area of Ferozepur and studies in fourth grade, had himself reached the soldiers with water, snow, tea, milk and lassi. Amidst the sounds of bullets and stressful atmosphere, his fearless service spirit won the hearts of army soldiers.

His father also proudly said that the son sent ration to the soldiers by himself without saying anyone and the soldiers also started loving him very much. Tara Wali village is just 2 km from the international border. At the same time, the army has described this story of Shivan as an example of the selfless heroes of the country, who serve the country without any hope and whose appreciation is necessary.
