London. India and England are holding two hands in the Test series on one side, on the other hand the boards of both countries have joined hands to hold the third T20 league. The Board of India (BCCI) and the English Board (ECB) have done this to protect their T20 tournaments IPL and The Handrade from weakening. The BCCI and ECB have decided that they will not support the Saudi T20 League plan of about $ 400 million. The Australian Cricket Board (CA) seems to be taking a different stand from India and England in this case.
The estimated price of IPL is $ 12 billion. The ECB is preparing to earn $ 700 million by selling 49 percent stake of eight franchise teams of ‘The Hundred’. According to the report, ‘Cricket South Africa (CSA) had raised an amount of more than $ 136 million by selling franchises of SA 20 competition to the owners of the Indian Premier League three years ago.’ According to the newspaper, ICC is being run by former BCCI Secretary Jai Shah. The Indian board can benefit from this.
