Russian star tennis player Daniil Medvedev angrily broke the net camera with his racket in the first round of the Australian Open. During this time his racket also broke.
He faces Thailand’s Kasidit Samarej in the first round at the Rod Laver Arena on Tuesday. Medvedev, a three-time finalist of this Grand Slam, could not control his emotions after falling 1-2 in the match against Samarez, ranked 418th in the world, and broke the camera with his racket.
Fifth seed Medvedev, however, was successful in winning the five-set match 6-2, 4-6, 3-6, 6-1,6-2. This was the first match of a Grand Slam for Samarez of Thailand, who made it to the tournament through a wild card.

Medvedev also broke his racket by hitting it on the net in anger.
I want Samarez to play like this in every match Medvedev said in his interview on the court, I had seen Samarez’s matches, but had not seen this kind of performance, so I was surprised. If he plays like this in every match, he can do well. I want Samarez to play like this in every match if I am facing him. To be successful in tennis you have to perform consistently and I wish the same for him.
