The Asia Cup will begin from 9 September. The Asia Cup played in T20 format will be held in UAE. Pakistan has been placed in Group A along with arch -rivals India in the eight teams Asia Cup tournaments, including UAE and Oman. The tournament will be held from September 9 to 28. Pakistan and India will compete on 14 September. Both teams can clash three times in this tournament. Prior to the Asia Cup, Pakistan’s team, captained by Salman Ali Aga, will play a triangular series against Afghanistan and host UAE in Sharjah from 29 August to 7 September.
