Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) is an extremist group, which was formed in 1978. This faction made of Khalistan has been kept by the Ministry of Home Affairs at the top of the list of Terrorist Organizations. Its strength and impact can be gauged from the fact that in the nineties, when there was a campaign to stop extremism and in 1993, all the groups running with the help of Pakistan or foreign powers were over, even then the remaining survivors. There were organizations, BKI was one of them. It is placed in the most organized and dangerous groups in the South Asia Terrorism Portal.
These groups are currently operating from Canada, UK, US, besides many European countries like Germany, France and Switzerland. Wadhwa Singh is its current leader who is allegedly hidden in Pakistan. Mehal Singh is the deputy chief. It also takes refuge in Pakistan. Both of them are among the 20 terrorists whose India continued to demand extradition.
Many more separatist groups are operating
Apart from Babbar Khalsa, many other separatist groups are operating from many countries of the world including Punjab. In this, the name of Sikh for Justice continued to come. The leader of the group who has been declared terrorists under the Unlopy Activities Prevention Act is Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, who has taken shelter in America. He continued to do big activities and also gives inflammatory statements on social media. Apart from these two, there are many groups like Khalistan Liberation Force, Khalistan Zindabad Force, Khalistan Tiger Force which are active.
Often some terrorist organization takes responsibility after a blast or attack. It has different methods. If someone posts on social media, then someone releases videos. Many times it also happens that another group creates another name and takes the name of another. Many times such fake news also comes. So every terrorist organization has fixed its pattern as to how they will take responsibility for their attack, so that no one can spread fake things in his name.
These are terrorist organizations, whose job is to create lies and slaughter. Then why do these people tell the truth after the attack?
