An active terrorist of Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) was arrested from Kaushambi district early Thursday in a joint operation of Uttar Pradesh STF and Punjab Police. An official said that the terrorist was in touch with Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI. Suspected terrorist Lajar Christ was caught at around 3.20 am. He hails from Kurlian village in Ramdas area of ​​Amritsar, Punjab.
Additional Director General of Police (UP Special Task Force, Law and Order) Amitabh Yash said that this operation was carried out in Kokhraj police station area of ​​Kaushambi. Yash said, “According to the information available, the arrested terrorist Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) -based module -based module head Swarn Singh alias Jeevan Fauji and is in direct contact with Pakistan -based ISI operatives.”

He said that UP STF was successful in recovering some explosive material and illegal weapons from the terrorist. The seizures from the terrorist include 3 grenades, two detonators, a foreign pistol and 13 live cartridges. Apart from this, a white colored explosive powder, an Aadhaar card with Ghaziabad, without a SIM card, was also seized from his possession. The ADG said that the terrorist had fled from judicial custody in Punjab on 24 September 2024.
Two BKI operatives were caught last month
Earlier on February 23, the Punjab Police arrested two main operatives of Babbar Khalsa International (BKI). Both of them were in direct contact with Pakistan -based Khalistani terrorist Harvinder Singh Rinda and US -based gangster Happy Passian. The arrested accused have been identified as Jagdish Singh alias Jagga and Shubdeep Singh Aulakh alias Shubh. According to the police, they were ordered to do target killing in Punjab.

Punjab Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav had said that the State Special Operation Cell (SSOC) of Mohali caught these terror operatives of Babbar Khalsa International on the basis of intelligence. He said, ‘The arrested accused have accepted the murder of one person and seriously injured in Nanded, Maharashtra on February 10, 2025. The attack was carried out on the instructions of Rinda. Two.32 bore pistols and five live cartridges have been recovered from my pass. Both the accused are from Tarnataran district of Punjab.
