The Bombay High Court on Thursday asked why an FIR has not been registered in the death case of the accused in Badlapur sexual harassment case. On this, Senior Advocate Amit Desai, presented by the government, said that the government is investigating the matter.

For this, a commission has been constituted under the chairmanship of retired Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court. In the police encounter of Akshay Shinde, accused in the sexual abuse case, the names of 5 policemen were revealed in the magistrate investigation of death.

A bench of Justice Revathi Mohite Dera and Justice Neela Gokhale has reserved its order on the issue.
