The deceased has been identified as Amrita Nair (21 years), who was a resident of Dhawas in Jaipur. She was a second year student of Faith Institute of Nursing, Bangalore and was traveling in a train with her friend Angel Thomas.

Injured passenger is also a resident of Rajasthan Roshan Ali (50 years), another passenger in the B-3 coach of the train, was also injured during the accident. He is a granite businessman in Churu, Rajasthan. He has suffered injuries to his head and leg.
