Student Movement in Bangladesh: At present, a different environment is going on in India’s neighboring country Bangladesh. While on one hand the whole world is busy preparing to welcome the New Year, on the other hand an announcement can be made to abolish the Constitution of Bangladesh. According to reports, today i.e. on 31st December, an announcement can be made to abolish the Constitution of Bangladesh, which was made in 1972 during the era of Sheikh Mujibar Rahman. Apart from this, important posts like President and Army Chief can also be abolished from the country. At the same time, there is also talk of giving the status of revolution to the student movement against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the month of July and a new republic can also be announced by the student organization leading the movement against Sheikh Hasina government.
Preparation for announcement of new republic by Students Against Discrimination
It is noteworthy that Students Against Discrimination is preparing to announce a new republic. However, it is not yet known whether Bangladesh will be declared an Islamic country or a secular republic. This situation in Bangladesh will increase the concern for India. Now it will be a challenge for India that if it talks to anyone in Bangladesh, who will it be?
At present, an interim government is in power in Bangladesh instead of the elected government. Which is being led by Nobel laureate economist Mohammad Yunus. Mohammad Yunus has supported the fundamentalists a lot during his tenure, due to which many countries including India are worried. At the same time, America has also expressed concern about Bangladesh.
Student leader spews venom against India
In Bangladesh, student leader Hasnat Abdullah said about the Constitution of Bangladesh that it is a Mujibist law, we will abolish it and bury it. Apart from this, the student leader has also spewed venom against India. Hasnat said, “It was because of that Constitution of 1972 that India got the opportunity to interfere in Bangladesh.” He further said, ‘We will make an announcement on the afternoon of December 31 at the Central Shaheed Minar in Dhaka and tell what the future Bangladesh will be like.’
