According to Bangladeshi English website The Daily Star, Foreign Advisor Tauheed Hussain told the media in the ministry today that his ministry has made India’s constant false and fabricated comments and statements being made continuously on different platforms including social media by Sheikh Hasina. Protests have been lodged in front. He said that such statements are promoting instability in Bangladesh.
‘Such activities are not good for relations between the two countries’
Through a protest letter submitted to the acting High Commissioner of India Pawan Marghe in Dhaka, the Ministry informed the ministry about the deep concern, disappointment and serious objections of Bangladesh. Bangladesh says that “Such statements are hurting people’s feelings in Bangladesh”. The ministry also emphasized that such activities are considered a hostile act for Bangladesh and it is not favorable for efforts to establish a healthy relationship between the two countries.
Bangladesh made this request to India
The Ministry of External Affairs requested the Government of India to immediately take appropriate steps with a sense of mutual respect and understanding, so that they could be prevented from making such false, concocted and inflammatory statements using social media and other media mediums during living in India. .
What did Sheikh Hasina say?
Sheikh Hasina in India had said, “The purpose behind the movement launched in Bangladesh is to actually kill me.” He accused the Chief Advisor of the Interim Government Muhammad Yunus that Yunus had conspired to kill Sheikh Hasina and her sister.
