On Thursday (6 February), the homes of party workers of Sheikh Hasina were attacked in at least 24 districts of Bangladesh. Their houses were set on fire. All valuables were robbed. Apart from this, many idols of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, who played an important role in the independence of the country and founder of Bangladesh, have also been broken. It seems that the rule of fear has come in Bangladesh and the government has no control over it.
Earlier on Wednesday (February 5), the house of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman located in Dhanmandi-22 area of ​​the capital Dhaka was also set on fire and was demolished by bulldozers. At the same time, on Thursday (6 February), a mob of protesters also set the house of Awami League General Secretary and former Road, Transport and Bridge Minister Obaidul Kader in Kampaniganj, Noakhali. After the attack on Kader’s house in Bora Rajapur Mohalla at around 1 pm on Thursday afternoon, his brother Abdul Kader Mirza’s house was also broken and then set on fire. Apart from this, a two -storey residence of former Mayor Shahadat Mirza of Basurhat municipality was also demolished.
There is an outcry all around in Bangladesh
According to Bangladeshi media, protesters in the monarchy burnt the three -storey house of former Minister of State for External Affairs Shahariar Alam in Chaksinga locality of Bagha Upazila. Eyewitnesses said that more than 100 people from Bagha and Charghat Upazila rode on a bike to carry out the incident. The protesters set the house on fire at 12 noon and the firemen extinguished the fire at 2 pm. Apart from this, in Shalgaria village, the house of Awami League leader Abu Saeed was attacked and set on fire.
According to Bangladeshi media, protesters and attackers also attacked the house of former President of the country Abdul Hamid at around 10 pm. He also looted all the valuables from inside the house, vandalized and set fire to the vehicles parked outside the house. Apart from this, in many other parts of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina’s party Awami League workers and leaders were attacked and their homes were set on fire.
