A minor dispute suddenly took violent form in Faridpur police station area of Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh. There was a debate between two sides about the matter of tying the mare on the road, which turned into stone pelting and firing. The video of this incident went viral on social media, after which the police came into action.
Objectioned to tying mare
According to the police, the case is from Linepar Mathia area of Faridpur police station area. Shyam Pratap, who lives here, objected to Taufiq Ahmed of Kasawan locality to tie a mare on the road. There was an argument on both sides on this. After this, Shyam Pratap reached Taufiq’s house with about 20 to 25 people.
Stoned and firing
The dispute between the two sides increased so much that stone pelting and firing started. Panic spread in the area and people lurked in their homes. As soon as the police received information, she reached the spot but by then the accused had escaped.
Case filed against 20 unknown people
Faridpur police station incharge Radheshyam said that the investigation has been started as soon as the incident is confirmed. A case has been registered against Shyam Pratap alias Thakur and 20 unidentified people on the complaint of Faridpur outpost incharge sub-inspector Jasvir Singh.
He informed that other accused are being identified on the basis of viral video. All the people seen in the video will be identified and arrest will be made soon. Additional police force has also been deployed to maintain peace in the area.
Police has said that strict action will be taken against those who take any kind of chaos and law.
