She broke the back of opposition batting with sharp bowling. In the same women’s cricket, India’s vice -captain Smriti Mandhana scored history by scoring 4 centuries in ODIs in a calendar year. Now both these players are dominated by the BCCI annual award. Bumrah and Mandhana will be given the best Indian cricketer award of 2023-24. Right -handed fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah was elected the International Cricket Council (ICC) test and overall year -old cricketer in 2024 to perform brilliantly with skills, accuracy and continuity. He performed brilliantly for India last year and played an important role in winning India’s domestic series against England and Bangladesh. The 31-year-old fast bowler was the best player of the series against Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and took 32 wickets in the five Tests. He was adjudged Player of the Series.

Mandhana scored 743 runs in ODIs last year
ICC’s best female ODI cricketer Mandhana scored 743 runs in 2024. He scored 4 centuries in the ODI International, which is the record of the most centuries in the format of women in a year. He set up more than a hundred boundaries last year which includes 95 fours and six sixes. The 28 -year -old cricketer scored an average of 57.86 in the ODI matches and an impressive strike rate of 95.15.
Bumrah completed 200 wickets in Tests
Jasprit Bumrah recently completed 200 wickets in the Test. He has been the best bowler in Test cricket in 2024. He took 71 wickets in 13 Tests at an average of 14.92. Bumrah got his iron from India to abroad.
