According to reports, the BCCI has decided to give an additional Rs 1 crore to any player who participated in 14 first class matches in a season as match fees.
BCCI has brought this policy to carry forward its efforts to give more priority to domestic cricket. Players playing in 14 first class matches will be given additional reward. The BCCI has been encouraging youth and other senior cricketers to play domestic cricket as much as possible. As part of this effort, now the BCCI has announced that any player who participated in 14 first class matches in a season will get an additional match fee of Rs 1 crore.
