The Central Administrative Tribunal has said that the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are responsible for the stampede outside the Chinnaswamy Stadium on 4 June. The tribunal says that the police is not a magician, if he is not given enough time to arrange, it cannot be expected to control the huge crowd.
Tribunal said- RCB did not take permission from the police before the Victory Parade. Suddenly, he posted information on social media platforms and due to this the public gathered. Therefore, franchisees are responsible for gathering a crowd of 5 lakh people.
A second program was also held in the state assembly premises, where the police was deployed, so the police cannot be expected to make all the arrangements according to the Police Act and other rules in a short time of only 12 hours.
In fact, the Karnataka government held an honor ceremony of the team of the Indian Premier League for the first time. Earlier, 11 people were killed and 75 people were injured in a stampede outside the stadium.
