This encounter is taking place in Sanjhi Nalaha area near Basantgarh village. At around 9 am, there was news of some terrorists being seen in the area, after which the security forces immediately reached there and started a search operation.

During the search, the terrorists suddenly started firing. After this, the security forces also fired back and now firing is going on from both sides. The security forces have surrounded the entire area and efforts are being made to catch the terrorists. The situation still remains tense. Officials said that the soldiers fired more than two dozen rounds and also conducted a search operation.

Search operations continue in Rajouri too
On Wednesday, the army continued a intensive search operation in the area after an attempt to infiltrate the procession Gala area of ​​Kerry sector located near the Line of Control (LOC) in Rajouri district. The army laid siege to the area and conducted a search operation in place with the help of Sniffer Dogs and Drone, but no terrorist has been caught yet.

On Tuesday morning, a group of 3 to 4 terrorists were trying to infiltrate the Indian border. But the vigilant soldiers of the Indian Army immediately retaliated and drove the terrorists back. In this firing, a terrorist was killed, whose body remained on the LoC till late night.

Terrorists came to carry the dead body
According to sources, by taking advantage of the darkness of the night, the rest of the terrorists managed to take back the body of their killed partner with the help of the Pakistan Army. At present, the army is on high alert in the entire area and the search operation is continuing to thwart any new effort of infiltration.
