Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavarov has threatened the US, South Korea and Japan on Saturday (July 12, 2025). He has warned the three countries against creating any kind of security alliance, targeting North Korea.
The Russian Foreign Minister is currently on a visit to Russia’s ally North Korea, where talks are going on to further strengthen the growing military and other cooperations between the two countries. Russian External Affairs Minister Sergei Lavarov reached the city of Eastern Wansan in North Korea on Friday (July 11), where he met his North Korean counterpart Cho Son Hui.
Russia and North Korea’s relations rapidly strengthened, rest of the countries in concern
In recent years, relations between Russia and North Korea have become increasingly strengthened. North Korea has supplied soldiers and weapons to help Russia during the Ukraine War, in return for which it also got military and economic support from Russia.
North Korea has got cooperation from Russia in South Korea, America and other countries have become a cause of concern. All countries are more concerned about the fact that Russia does not submit any sensitive techniques to North Korea, which will make its atomic and missile programs more dangerous.
What Russian Foreign Minister warns,
After a meeting with North Korea’s Foreign Minister Cho Son Hui, Russian External Affairs Minister Sergei Lavarov accused the US, South Korea and Japan of committing military activity around North Korea. He said, “We use this alliance against anyone against anyone, especially North Korea and of course against Russia, against efforts to form an alliance.”
At the same time, in view of North Korea’s growing nuclear program, in response to this, the US, South Korea and Japan are resumping their trilateral military exercises and also expanding them.
