Patna administration has declared PK’s fast unto death as illegal. The administration has issued a statement saying that on behalf of Prashant Kishore of Jansuraj, about 150 workers are sitting near the Gandhi statue at Gandhi Maidan with 5-point demands. Whereas, as per the orders of Patna High Court, a place has been identified in Gardanibagh for the protest.

Prashant Kishor is sitting at a restricted place without permission, which is illegal. For this, an FIR has been registered against him and a notice is being issued.

Purnia MP Pappu Yadav is also continuously campaigning for the candidates. Meanwhile, he has announced Bihar bandh on Friday i.e. 3rd January. During Bihar Bandh, it has been said that National Highways, State Highways and trains passing through the state will be stopped.

Pappu Yadav has given this information on his Facebook. The MP has appealed to the students for cooperation. Earlier, Pappu Yadav had announced in the press conference on December 25 that if the government does not cancel the entire BPSC examination, then we will shut down Bihar in the first week of January.

‘Commission responsible for student’s suicide’

Pappu Yadav has alleged that there has been rigging in the BPSC examination and transactions worth about Rs 500 crore have taken place. He had also made allegations regarding the case of suicide of a student, in which the student had accused him of demanding money to pass the BPSC exam. Pappu Yadav had said that the Commission is completely responsible for the suicide and had demanded an impartial investigation into the entire matter from the High Court.

BPSC candidates are protesting from 13th December

The exam was held on 13 December. The candidates had alleged irregularities in the examination and said that the paper of the examination held at Bapu Center was leaked during the day itself. The Commission had also accepted the irregularities and had asked for re-examination. On the same day, a candidate who was protesting was slapped by Patna Collector Dr Chandrashekhar Singh.

Getting support from opposition parties
