A surprising case has come to light from Muzaffarpur district of Bihar. Here a son declared his living father dead and registered the prized land of his name to someone else. The victim 90 -year -old elderly Raj Narayan Thakur is now circling the administration and is pleading for justice against his own son.
Actually, the whole matter is of Virpur village of Kanti police station area. Raj Narayan Thakur, who lives here, alleges that his younger son Dilip Thakur registered about 10 decimal land of the village on July 29 in the Motipur Registry Office. The price of this land is being told millions of rupees. The surprising thing is that Raj Narayan Thakur has been declared dead in the registry documents, while he is completely alive.

When Raj Narayan Thakur came to know about this fraud, he immediately ordered the registry related documents. Seeing the documents, his senses flew away. He clearly stated that he has neither signed any paper nor given his consent. This is a serious deception and betrayal done to them. At the same time, the elderly Thakur said while emotional, now no one asks, nor gives food, nor cloth. The son is cheating.
The elderly complained about the entire episode to the District Magistrate Subrata Sen and presented all the documents related to the case. In view of the seriousness of the case, the DM has instructed the concerned zonal officer (CO) and the station in -charge (SHO) to investigate. Along with this, all the brothers have been suggested to share the land with mutual consent.

DM said that if there is no mutual consent, then the party will have to file a partition suit (Bantwara suit) in the civil court, only after which the legal process of cancellation of the registry can proceed. At present, efforts are on at the administrative level so that the dispute can be resolved at the local level itself.
