The Supreme Court has reprimanded the online apology of BJP minister Vijay Shah for commenting on Colonel Sophia Qureshi, who briefed Operation Sindoor. A bench of Justices Suryakant and Joymalya Bagchi held a hearing in Shah’s case on Monday in the Supreme Court.

Minister Vijay Shah had said about Operation Sindoor at a Halma program held in Raikunda village of Mhow, Indore on May 11, “He took off our Hindus and Modi ji sent his sister to his house to teach him like this.”
Shah further said- ‘Now Modi ji cannot take off clothes. Therefore, he sent his sister of the society, that you have widen our sisters, then the sister of your society will come and leave you naked. The honor of the country and the honeymoon of our sisters can be changed by sending your caste, sisters of society to Pakistan.
Let us know that after Operation Sindoor, Colonel Sophia Qureshi, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh and External Affairs Department Secretary Vikram Misri were giving a press conference and giving the operation and other information.
On this statement, the High Court expressed displeasure and directed to register a case against Shah, while the Supreme Court also reprimanded Shah while hearing on May 19. Also, the SIT was instructed to investigate.
Investigation started from May 20, for statements of 125 people A three -member SIT was formed on the evening of May 19 after the Supreme Court order. Which includes the then SAF DIG Kalyan Chakraborty and Dindori SP Vahini Singh along with the then IG Pramod Verma of Sagar Range. Pramod Verma is now the IG of the Jabalpur range. At the same time, Kalyan Chakraborty is now DIG of Chhindwara Range.
The SIT started the investigation of the Vijay Shah case on 20 May. The government rest house of Banganga police station area of Indore was made a base camp. On May 21, the team also reached Raikunda village of Mhow. In a program of Halma in this village, Vijay Shah made a controversial statement about Colonel Sophia Qureshi. Many BJP leaders including MLA were present on the stage during this period.
On 22 May, SIT started recording statements in the base camp. More than 125 people involved in the program were called. This series lasted for 5 days. In this, statements were recorded from journalists from journalists to former ministers and students to Vice Chancellor.

The SIT also recorded the statements of Mhow’s current MLA and former cabinet minister Usha Thakur at the time of Minister Vijay Shah’s speech.
Apart from him, the statements of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Social Science University Vice Chancellor, Janpad Panchayat President and organizer of the program Deepmala Rawat were also recorded.
A large number of college students, NCC cadets and volunteers of social institutions also reached for the program. The three members of the SIT also recorded their statements.
The help of the Indore Police was taken to record the statements. Complete recording of statements was done and their documents were prepared. These documents were produced before the court on May 28.
