Preparations for Bihar assembly elections have intensified. In this episode, the important meeting of the BJP’s election committee was held at the state headquarters in Patna late Saturday, in which the election strategy of the party and possible candidates were discussed. Today, Sunday is another meeting of party leaders in which the seats lost in 2020 will be discussed.
The meeting was chaired by Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who has been made in charge of Bihar elections. He was accompanied by many senior leaders including Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya (co -in -charge), Union Minister Nityanand Rai, Giriraj Singh, MP Ravi Shankar Prasad, and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha.

BJP National General Secretary (Bihar in -charge) Vinod Tawde said on X social media after the meeting, “Bihar is once again ready to choose the development -oriented government. In today’s meeting, possible candidates were discussed for the upcoming elections.”
Discussion held in BJP’s meeting on 60 seats
At the same time, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha said, “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Bihar has set new standards of development, good governance and public welfare.”

In a conversation with reporters after the meeting, Bihar BJP President Dilip Jaiswal said that, “Today, 60 seats were focused in our meeting. Tomorrow (Sunday) we will discuss the rest of the seats, on which we had won or had won the last time.” He also clarified that the politics of ‘Bada-Chota Bhai’ will not work in the NDA.
Nitish Kumar’s leadership praise
Jaiswal said, “The NDA alliance is completely strong. Under the leadership of Nitish Kumar, Bihar has done the work that the opposition was doing only in promises.” In the 2020 assembly elections, BJP contested 110 out of 243 seats and won 74 seats.
Jaiswal indicated that the existing MLAs who do well may get tickets again, while where there is more anti-incumbency, new faces will be given a chance. As far as he has a question of contesting elections, Jaiswal said, “This decision will take the top lead. At the moment I am playing the role of a guardian in Bihar BJP.”
