On the day of Holi, a big news has come out from Bilaspur in Himachal Pradesh. In Bilaspur, senior Congress leader and former MLA Bambar Thakur has been shot by unknown assailants. After the incident, Bambar Thakur has been admitted to the hospital, where he is undergoing treatment. During the firing of unknown assailants, the former MLA’s PSO has also been injured by being shot.
Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that, he spoke to Bambar Thakur and asked to be admitted to AIIMS for better treatment but he wants to get treatment in ICMC itself. The CM further said that, he has instructed the police to identify the accused as soon as possible.
According to the information received, Congress leaders were present at their residence at the time of the incident. Unknown people fired around 12 rounds at his residence. During this, Bambar Thakur and his PSO were injured by bullet. Bambar Thakur and his PSO have bullets on their back and stomach.
On receiving the information of the case, the police reached the spot and started investigating. Police spokesperson DSP Madan Dhiman said that the police have registered a case after investigation at the scene. The investigation has been started to hold the attackers.

Two attackers firing on former MLA Bambar Thakur while two Hamlwar stand at the gate. After which the attackers are seen running away. The police has also started identifying the accused through CCTV.
