BPSC Student Protest: Sonu committed suicide due to stress due to paper leak allegations, father told the reason

Sonu, a resident of Pareyachak village of Paliganj, committed suicide late in the evening of 24 December. According to his father Sudama Yadav, 25 year old Sonu used to prepare for competitive examinations by staying in Patna’s Journalist Nagar. Had given BPSC exam on 13th December and was under stress due to allegations of paper leak. He spoke to his mother for the last time on Tuesday afternoon, after which he committed suicide in his room. No suicide note was found from his room. As the third attempt, Sonu had given the BPSC 70th PT exam. Sonu was preparing for the last two years under the coaching of the famous Khan sir of Patna. After hearing the news of Sonu’s death, Khan sir had reached Paliganj to meet the family. Father Sudama Yadav works in Mumbai. The monthly salary was 15 thousand rupees, of which ten thousand were sent for Sonu’s education. Sonu was the only son in his family and had two younger sisters who were to get married.
