A leading expert in Chinese affairs in the US appealed to completely break the relationship with Beijing and warned that if the country does not take rapid action, it would have to face a worse threat from Corona. The expert’s statement came after the arrest of two Chinese citizens on the charge of smuggling a poisonous fungus in the US.
Fungus smuggling in America
Recently, two Chinese citizens named Uncings Gian and Junong Liu were arrested in America. They are accused of smuggling a very dangerous fungus in America which can make crops bad. Both Chinese citizens have been arrested for conspiring, smuggling in the US, making false statements and visa fraud.

He said that it is like a secret mission to destabilize the US from China and the only way to stop it is to break the relationship with China.
Causes of waste of crops
Chinese citizens arrested in the US are accused of smuggling a dangerous fungus named Fusarium Graminierum, which spoils grain crops like wheat, barley and corn. It causes a disease called fuserium head blight (FHB) or scab in crops. If this disease occurs in the crop, then the quality of grains is bad and the yield of the crop is also very low.
According to the American Law Department, scientists have considered this fungus a big threat to farming and food security and scientists have called its use as ‘Agro-Terrorism’, ie agricultural terrorism. This fungus has the strength to trigger food grains, economic crisis and serious health effects, including liver damage to reproductive problems.
Conspiracy to weaken America
The arrested Chinese citizens had previously worked on this fungus in their country and allegedly carried out illegal research on it after bringing it to America. Chang said that this case is not just an incident of biological trafficking but it is part of a broad ‘People War’ strategy based on Maoist principle, which aims to make the enemies political, economically and psychologically weak and unstable.

Gordon G. Chang said that if we do not defend ourselves with readiness and determination, then we will really get into a lot of trouble. Meanwhile, Chang’s appeal to review all diplomatic and educational relations with China draws attention to the growing concerns about bio security weaknesses and foreign infiltration in American institutions.
