Money laundering case in Formula-E race – Telangana High Court stays the arrest of former minister KT Rama Rao
Telangana High Court has stayed the arrest of former minister KT Rama Rao in the money laundering case related to Formula-E race. The High Court has stayed the arrest till the hearing on Rama Rao’s petition. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had summoned Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao on December 28.
Rama Rao’s sister K. Kavita’s name also came up in this case. He is accused that payment of Rs 55 crore was made in foreign currency without approval.

Fire on the third floor of the hospital in Madurai, many fire brigade vehicles reached

Mumbai hoarding incident- Main accused arrested from Lucknow, was absconding for 7 months; 17 died in the accident
Mumbai Police has arrested the main accused in the Ghatkopar hoarding incident case from Lucknow. The accused has been identified as businessman Arshad Khan (42). He was absconding for the last seven months after he was called to record his statement in this case.
On May 13, 17 people were killed and more than 80 were injured when an illegal hoarding collapsed on a petrol pump amid strong winds and rain in Ghatkopar area.
During investigation, it was revealed that Ego Media Private Limited, which had installed the hoardings, had transferred Rs 82 lakh to the bank accounts of some people associated with Arshad Khan.

Ambulance stuck in traffic for half an hour in Kerala, two patients died
Two critically ill patients died after an ambulance got stuck in a traffic jam in Kerala’s Kozhikode district. The deceased have been identified as 54-year-old Sulaikha and 49-year-old Shajil Kumar. The condition of both the patients was critical, but they died after the ambulance was stuck in a traffic jam for more than 30 minutes.
Sulaikha, a resident of Edaricode, was being taken from Malabar Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS) in Kottakkal to IQRA Hospital in Kozhikode for treatment. Shajil Kumar, a resident of Vallikunnu, was being taken from Chellari DMS Hospital to Kozhikode Medical College after suffering a heart attack.
