Money laundering case in Formula-E race – Telangana High Court stays the arrest of former minister KT Rama Rao

Telangana High Court has stayed the arrest of former minister KT Rama Rao in the money laundering case related to Formula-E race. The High Court has stayed the arrest till the hearing on Rama Rao’s petition. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had summoned Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao on December 28.

Rama Rao’s sister K. Kavita’s name also came up in this case. He is accused that payment of Rs 55 crore was made in foreign currency without approval.

Terrorist of Al Qaeda linked organization arrested in Assam, Ansarullah of Bangladesh is a member of Bangla Team

A member of Bangladeshi terrorist organization linked to Al Qaeda has been arrested from Kokrajhar district of Assam. Special Task Force (STF) officer said that Ghazi Rehman (35) is a member of Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT), he was absconding.

Assam STF is running ‘Operation Parghat’ in the state to arrest terrorists. So far 12 members of terrorist organizations have been arrested.

Fire on the third floor of the hospital in Madurai, many fire brigade vehicles reached

A fire broke out on the third floor of a hospital in Madurai, Tamil Nadu on Tuesday morning. After the fire, several fire brigade vehicles reached the spot. The fire brigade official said that no injuries have been reported so far. The cause of the fire is being investigated. Mumbai hoarding incident- Main accused arrested from Lucknow, was absconding for 7 months; 17 died in the accident

Mumbai Police has arrested the main accused in the Ghatkopar hoarding incident case from Lucknow. The accused has been identified as businessman Arshad Khan (42). He was absconding for the last seven months after he was called to record his statement in this case.

On May 13, 17 people were killed and more than 80 were injured when an illegal hoarding collapsed on a petrol pump amid strong winds and rain in Ghatkopar area.

During investigation, it was revealed that Ego Media Private Limited, which had installed the hoardings, had transferred Rs 82 lakh to the bank accounts of some people associated with Arshad Khan.

The BJP MP from Balasore in Odisha returned to the state after his treatment and said the doctors treating him after the injury were surprised at how his eye remained undamaged despite the incident.

Ambulance stuck in traffic for half an hour in Kerala, two patients died

Two critically ill patients died after an ambulance got stuck in a traffic jam in Kerala’s Kozhikode district. The deceased have been identified as 54-year-old Sulaikha and 49-year-old Shajil Kumar. The condition of both the patients was critical, but they died after the ambulance was stuck in a traffic jam for more than 30 minutes.

Sulaikha, a resident of Edaricode, was being taken from Malabar Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS) in Kottakkal to IQRA Hospital in Kozhikode for treatment. Shajil Kumar, a resident of Vallikunnu, was being taken from Chellari DMS Hospital to Kozhikode Medical College after suffering a heart attack.
