An FIR has been registered in Odisha on Friday in the case of alleged anti -national statement against Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha. Rahul Gandhi said at a Congress program on 15 January that ‘BJP and RSS have captured every institute and now we are fighting BJP, RSS and Indian State.

A case was registered under sections 152 and 197 (1) (D) of IPC at Jharsuguda Town Police Station in Odisha. Complainant Ram Hari Pujari (42) alleged that Rahul had deliberately made a fight with the Indian State.
