A court in Thane district of Maharashtra directed to register an FIR against Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar) MLA Jitendra Awhad in the Hate Speech case. Judicial Magistrate Mahima Saini said in an order on 3 February that Bhayandar should register a case against the former minister under sections 153 (A) and 505 (2) of the IPC.
